Question:
Will Build-Masters work with me if I already have an architect. 
Answer:
Yes.
Most architects prefer that we work with them during the design process in order to save the most money for thier clients during the design of the project. The traditional design-bid-build method is no longer the prefereed method of both the public and private sector as it usually costs more money and creates more finger pointing between the architect and contractor that the church must manage. The sooner you have your entire team in place in the project working together the better chance you have of designing and constructing a successful project within the budget that you expect. 
Question:
What if I just want Build-Masters to build it for me? 
Answer:
No Problem. With the Build-Masters Process, we will assess the right strategies to help you build a quality church for least possible cost. We will establish project reporting and communication controls, seek out cost savings alternatives, hire the subcontractors, provide regular schedule and cost updates and work very closely with you as the owner.  Our process is totally open book with no surprises.

Will Build-Masters provide Owners Representative Services
Answer:
Yes.  The design and construction process is a risk-laden and complex process that requires a focused and experienced team that can manage the entire process from start to finish. It requires someone that can manage the multiple components of a church project that range from zoning, land use, civil engineering, architect, contractor, engineers, consultants and governmental regulations to successfully develop a project.  With our Owners Representative we essentially become an extension of your staff managing the entire process for you, allowing you to spend time on what you do best, ministry.

Do You Provide Church Financing?

Yes. Through our partnerships with leading church lenders we can typically have a letter of intent on your project within 48 hours of you providing us information on your church and your project.  Of course you have the freedom to choose your own lender but we want to start the project at least knowing you have financing available regardless of who you use ultimately.

Do I need to find land or have my building plans before I call Build-Masters?
Answer:
No, This is actually the best time to start working with Build-Masters. . By getting our professional help before you buy the land or prepare the plans can help you avoid costly mistakes.

How can I find good subcontractors?
Answer:
One of the keys to success in building a church is having access to the right subcontractors and suppliers. Build-Masters has years of experience in the church marketplace and has developed successful relationships with subcontractors and suppliers. Your consultant has developed a rapport with these vendors and knows that they provide quality products, workmanship and excellent service at competitive prices.

Can I use my own subcontractors?
Answer:
Yes, as long as they meet the qualifications as any other subcontractor that we hire and can provide appropriate insurance.

Can I save taxes on my major materials as a non-profit entity?
Answer:
Yes! Because you are purchasing the materials and labor directly that will qualify you to save substantial money just in tax savings alone.

Can Build_Masters just do the construction if I already have a design team?

Absolutely!Build-Masters is able to get involved in almost any phase of the project.  The earlier  we can get involved in the design process whether we are designing the project or working with your existing design team, the more we can save you money. With our church design and construction experience we are able to bring realistic budget estimates throughout the design process, value engineering ideas and overall constructibility concerns that your design team may not have considered that will can save you substantial amounts of money on your overall project.

When should I start building?
Answer:
Every month, the price of materials and the cost of land increases. Whether you are thinking of building in a few years or a few months, it is important to understand what effect waiting has on the cost of your project. In some areas, these cost factors will be much higher than others. That may influence your decision to start planning and building sooner. You could pay thousands of dollars more for your church two years from now than if you started the planning and building process now.  Over the past few years the costs of materials and labor have gone up between 5% and 6% per year. On a $1,500,000 that is almost $7,500 a month that it will cost you for waiting.
